The entrance to the property is a secluded turn past a large hay barn. The immediate atmosphere is very peaceful and private and is in keeping with the Breton lifestyle.

Set in 10 acres of gardens, open grassland and private woodland Maroux Vian is surrounded by farmland. Naturally there are many things to see and do even without leaving the grounds.

At one time Maroux Vian was a working farm consisting of the original Breton Farmhouse, a barn and stabling for the bull and cart horse. Its 3 traditional
stone cottages are set around a secluded courtyard with ample parking.

Below are just a few examples of what can be seen around the property.

The swimming pool is situated immediately at the rear of the property (facing the farmhouse). It is a good size although diving is not permitted. Ideal in the Summer months.

The gardens around the property are decorated with various plants and flowers as well as generous pathways and lawns perfect for children to play in.

There is a working farm on the outskirts of the property which is a beef and dairy farm. You may see friendly cows over the hedge or on the way to the forest depending on the season.

The peaceful natural forest that takes up most of the 10 acre grounds of Maroux Vian is dominated by birch trees and can be green with moss in Autumn/Winter. It is ideal for a nature trail.

There are many species of natural wildlife in and around the grounds. Most notably are a variety of butterflies, excitable swallows and farm animals.

Overhead you may be lucky enough to see (and hear) a Mirage fighter jet of the French Airforce sweeping though the air on a test run. What a sight!
